We are responsible and transparent about everything we do.

Respect and Responsibility
The most sustainable thing you can do is not to wear a watch. We want to be the best alternative to that, as we believe that we all have an inherent responsibility to do better. What we did yesterday should be outdone by what we do today and tomorrow forward, to help ensure a lifetime for the generations to come. That is why we see it as our responsibility to create means for giving back through initiatives that facilitate the transition towards a more sustainable tomorrow, with respect towards our communities and the environment. We are formally committed to donate more than 20% of profits every year to charity.

Supply Chain
TRACEABILITY
We currently have full traceability on all our Tier 1 suppliers and some Tier 2 suppliers, and we have the ambition of achieving full traceability in at least Tier 2 and Tier 3 of our supply chain.
SHIPPING AND LOGISTICS
We wish to minimize our environmental footprint when it comes to the transportation of our products. Due to our products being relatively small in size, we ship a considerable part of
our production via air. While currently we offset our carbon footprint of all our transportation, we are continuously working towards finding even more sustainable solutions for the future.
In 2020 we emitted 663 tonnes via Last mile shipments (from warehouse to customer) and they have all been offset via the Burgos Wind Project.
PLASTIC OFFSET
In January 2021 we partnered with CleanHub, in order to calculate the offset of our plastic use for every watch sold (including the packaging) and plastic offset for all full time employees, equivalent to the world average of 7 kg per person/month. This way our total offset as an organization will be calculated on an ongoing quarterly basis.

Working Conditions
Our products are manufactured in a Danish-owned watch factory in China. The facility has excellent working conditions, based on Danish labour practices.
Our manufacturer recycles their waste of cardboard paper, plastic and papers, and they trace the factory’s energy and water usage.
Furthermore, a suction duct system has been installed to test the waste air in the assembly area, in order to keep the inside clean, and protect the workers. Our manufacturer has a labour union and an internal employees suggestion box that is handled by the HR, with the purpose of gathering and finding solutions for incoming suggestions.
They follow rules and regulations, according to the Government Labour Laws, to pay wages no later than each month 7th and each employer has publicly paid vacation. The employees are paid monthly wages that are slightly higher than the industry standard. Overtime wages to the employees follow the Government Labor Laws.
Our Head Office in Copenhagen
Our electricity is sourced from renewable energy sources and we use LED lighting and Energy Star-rated appliances in our head office. We are working towards having zero waste in our work space, by sorting and recycling our waste as much as possible.
We encourage our team to cycle to and from work and to take public transportation. In the beginning of 2021 we partnered up with CleanHub to offset all full time employees’ plastic use equivalent to the world average of 7 kg per person/month - on top of the offset of products sold.
Furthermore, our office in Copenhagen is carbon neutral, and in order to do so, we have chosen to support Burgos Wind Project in the Philippines, a UN certified project focusing not only on producing clean energy, but also on leading projects and initiatives with the local governments and communities that promote the protection of the environment.
